Session Day 58: Three things you may have missed but need to know


Good morning.

As the session speeds to a climactic crescendo with the debate over school finance nearing a conclusion (or maybe not), there are other issues bubbling at the capitol.

Let's start if off with the quick confirmation hearing for Gov. Jeff Colyer's nomination to the Kansas Corporation Commission. The only drawback seems to be oil executive Dwight Keen's lack of industrial diversity (if that's really a thing).
