UPDATED: Senate approves sports wagering bill

A bill allowing Kansas to become the 21st state to allow sports wagering cleared the Senate early Wednesday night.

After a debate that spanned the morning and most of the afternoon, the Senate voted 23-15 to approve sports betting at four state-owned casinos and on mobile apps.
