The Kansas Senate on Wednesday approved a Republican-crafted tax bill with a single income tax rate that's on a fast track to Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly, who has vowed to veto the legislation.
The Senate voted 25-11 to pass the bill with a 5.25% flat tax rate that was similar to one passed by the House last year that died after it was rewritten . . .
