It's more than just Republican Insurance Commissioner Ken Selzer versus Republican Gov. Jeff Colyer in the governor's race.
Selzer is now taking on the governor in Shawnee County District Court to stop the state from moving $8 million in fees from the department’s Service Regulation Fee Fund.
The Insurance Department this week brought suit against the governor, the budget office and the secretary of administration to stop the fees from being moved into the general fund.
