House Speaker Ron Ryckman Jr. on Monday rolled out the Republican committee assignments for the upcoming 2021-22 term.
The speaker created a new committee dedicated to water issues and reshuffled the committees on financial institutions and insurance.
The water committee replaces the Rural Revitalization Committee, which was created temporarily to explore rural issues.
Meanwhile, rural development will be grouped together with financial institutions and pensions will be moved over to the insurance committee.
