Kansas Republicans are taking their regional conventions virtual when they select delegates to the party's national convention.
Responding to the coronavirus threat, state Republicans on Saturday will hold the first of four district conventions online as they pick delegates to the national convention in Charlotte.
Republicans from the 1st Congressional District were supposed to meet Saturday in Salina to select three delegates and three alternates to the national convention.
Instead, the party will hold a Zoom teleconference where Republicans can call in and listen to the proceedings.
Ballots will be emailed to the 65 Republicans in the 1st District . . .
