Republican state Rep. Ken Rahjes said Wednesday that he plans to mount a campaign for Kansas secretary of state, setting up a primary showdown with Republican Rep. Pat Proctor.
"I have not filed yet, but I will very, very soon for secretary of state," Rahjes said in an interview Wednesday morning.
"It's a matter of how we can best serve Kansans," the Agra lawmaker said.
"I believe the work ethic that I bring and the last 10 years of service in the Legislature shows that I get along with most folks and want to do what's best for . . .
