Promising to set the stage for busting up the Republican supermajority in the House, state Rep. Brandon Woodard announced he's running to replace Rep. Tom Sawyer as the top Democrat in the chamber.

Sawyer announced Tuesday he was not seeking to run again as House minority leader.
