Poll shows Mattivi mired in last, but still with hope

Republican attorney general candidate Tony Mattivi released a poll Thursday still showing him mired in last place in a three-way primary race for attorney general, but offers hope that he could receive help with positive messaging showing his career experience.

The poll of 500 likely Republican primary election voters showed Mattivi with 8.9% of the vote, a similar finding to what polls done on behalf of other candidates have shown since last summer.

The poll, done by Cygnal of Washington, D.C., has former Secretary of State Kris Kobach at 30.6% in the Republican primary for attorney . . .
