Pannbacker mulls re-election, faces crowd of GOP candidates

A crowd is forming to replace Republican state Rep. Bill Pannbacker out in House District 106.

Three Republicans — Lisa Moser, Dan Thalmann and Jon Ungerer — have filed to run against Pannbacker, who is still deciding whether to run for reelection.

It's one of the biggest primary fields in the state, just one short of the four Republicans seeking to replace state Rep. Willie Dove in House District 38. Dove is running for the Senate.

Pannbacker, who replaced former state Rep. Clay Aurand in the House in 2018, said he hasn't decided whether to seek another term.
