Nuclear revolution coming to Kansas?

A company founded by Bill Gates is scouting sites in Kansas for a new-generation nuclear power plant that designers say is safer, costs less to build and performs better than the customary nuclear power plant you've seen with large cooling towers.

TerraPower and Evergy  have signed a memorandum of understanding with Kansas to explore the siting of a new kind of nuclear power plant in the utility company's service territory that is seen as the future of nuclear energy in the United States.
