The bombshell story of the day out of Washington had nothing to do with Brett Kavanaugh.
Early Sunday afternoon, The Hill newspaper reported that the National Republican Campaign Committee was pulling a $1.2 million ad buy planned for Congressman Kevin Yoder in the 3rd District.
The Hill's report came about a week after a New York Times/Sienna College poll showed Democratic challenger Sharice Davids up by eight points over Yoder.
The Hill's report sparked some touchdown dancing on Twitter Sunday . . .
