The debate over sports betting started fresh this week, but with a new wrinkle that possibly expands the Kansas Lottery into online sales.
Senators started work on new legislation that would authorize sports wagering along with provisions that appear to allow some limited online lottery games, otherwise known as iLottery.
However, there are questions about whether the bill is so restrictive that it could make it impossible to start online lottery sales.
The casino industry rallied around the legislation this week in hopes of getting sports betting . . .
