New leaders were named Monday at the Lansing Correctional Facility and Larned State Hospital.
Corrections Secretary Jeff Zmuda named Jesse Howes as the new warden of Lansing Correctional Facility starting Aug.7.
It's will be Lansing's third warden - including an interim appointment - since last year.
Meanwhile, social services Secretary Laura Howard named Lindsey Dinkel as the superintendent at Larned State Hospital starting Aug. 20.
Dinkel replaces outgoing Superintendent Lesia Dipman, who is retiring after 38 years with the state. Dipman started her career at Larned.
At Lansing, Howes replaces Chandler Cheeks, who was just named warden at Lansing . . .
