A new poll out on Friday morning shows Democratic U.S. Sen. Adam Hamilton running slightly ahead of Republican incumbent Roger Marshall in his historic bid to become the first Democrat elected to the U.S. Senate from Kansas since 1932.
The poll, released by Emerson College Polling and Nexstar Media, found Hamilton leading with 45% of the vote followed by Marshall with 43% of the vote. Libertarian David Graham had 4%, the poll said. Eight percent were still undecided.
The poll surveyed 750 likely voters on Sept. 15-16. The margin of error was 3 . . .
