National Democrats are revving up to take another shot at breaking the Republican supermajority grip on the Kansas Legislature, something they've tried twice before but have come up short.
The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee says it's prepared to spend heavily in three states, including Kansas, where there are Democratic governors wrestling with legislatures controlled by Republican supermajorities.
The DLCC says it will have an operating budget of about $60 million and plans to spend "at least seven figures" in Wisconsin, North Carolina and Kansas.
