The Kansas Legislature on Friday quickly overturned Gov. Laura Kelly's veto of a bill providing a tax deduction for health care sharing ministries, described as faith-based, community-driven organizations in which members voluntarily share each other’s medical expenses.
The House voted 87-37 to override the governor's veto. The Senate voted 30-9 to overturn the governor . . .
