Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach's office is proposing a fix to a law challenged in court that makes it illegal for someone to falsely give the appearance of acting as an election official.

The House elections committee is set to take up a bill introduced by Kobach's top deputy that more explicitly spells out what constitutes masquerading as an election official.
