Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kris Kobach released a poll Wednesday morning showing him overwhelming the GOP primary field.
The poll of 300 likely Republican primary election voters statewide showed Kobach with support from 40% of those surveyed.
Congressman Roger Marshall trailed with 22.7%, followed by Senate President Susan Wagle with 8.3%.
Former Johnson County Commissioner Dave Lindstrom was running at 5.3% and plumber Bob Hamilton at 2.3%.
Board of Education member Steve Roberts was not included in the poll.
