The Kansas Highway Patrol said Thursday that there would not be a police report from the arrest of Senate Majority Leader Gene Suellentrop.
Luther Ganieany, general counsel for the KHP, initially said in response to an open-records requst on March 16 that a report would be available on or before March 26.
Suellentrop was arrested in the early morning hours of March 16 on suspicion of drunk driving and fleeing a police officer. He was later released for a lack of probably cause.
