The relationship between Gov. Laura Kelly and Democratic state Sen. Cindy Holscher has apparently thawed enough to the point where the sitting governor is going to help the nominee raise money for the governor's race.
Kelly, along with former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, will headline a fundraiser for Holscher Friday night that will include the state's Democratic establishment, according to an invitation obtained by the Sunflower State Journal.
The host committee includes former Democratic Congressmen Jim Slattery and Dan Glickman, former state Democratic Party Chair Larry Gates, Lawrence attorney Dan Watkins, and Stephene Moore, the wife of the late . . .
