Kelly renews pledge not to close businesses

Gov. Laura Kelly on Tuesday reiterated that she has no interest in closing businesses in efforts to control the coronavirus pandemic.

"It's in my best interest to have our businesses open and operating at full capacity as possible during this pandemic and beyond," Kelly said.

"I want our businesses to stay open. I want them to open more broadly, that's why I keep pushing for people to help us do that.

"Wear the mask, keep socially distanced and don't mass gather," she said. "Let's mitigate the spread. It's good for you and it's good . . .
