UPDATED: Kelly raises $1 million more than Kobach in governor’s race

Democratic state Sen. Laura Kelly rolled up nearly $1 million more in campaign fundraising than Republican rival Kris Kobach in the Kansas governor's race.

Kelly reported taking in $2.3 million for the reporting period that ended Oct. 25. Kobach raised almost $1.4 million, including loans totaling about $683,000 from his running mate, oilman Wink Hartman.
