Democratic Gov. Laura Kelly's popularity is as high as it's been as she heads into the most critical week of the 2023 legislative session.
Polling out last week from Morning Consult showed Kelly with an approval rating of 58%, the highest point since she was sworn in 2019. Thirty-four percent disapproved of Kelly and 8% said they didn't know.
