Gov. Laura Kelly today named a veteran newspaper editor as her new director of communications.
Kelly announced that Dena Sattler would be moving to the governor's office from the Commerce Department.
She joined Commerce after serving as editor and publisher of The Garden City Telegram from 2004 to 2018.
Sattler will replace Ashley All, who oversaw communications for Kelly’s campaign and then as governor. All had planned to work through the first legislative session.
