Former Kansas U.S. Sen. Nancy Kassebaum and state Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger are backing Democrat Kamala Harris for president over Republican former President Donald Trump.
Kassebaum and Praeger - both Republicans - were joined in their support of Harris by former federal Judge Deanell Reece Tacha, who taught at the University of Kansas Law School from 1974 to 1985.
The endorsement was reported late Thursday afternoon by Fox News.
