Kansas GOP hires Grover as comms director

The Kansas Republican Party Monday morning announced that it had hired CJ Grover, an aide to former Congressman Kevin Yoder, as its new communications director.

Grover most recently worked for Plains PAC, which spent more than $3 million to help Congressman Roger Marshall win the GOP primary for the U.S. Senate.

Grover worked as a spokesman for Attorney General Derek Schmidt after running Yoder's unsuccessful reelection campaign for Congress in 2018.

Grover, a 2012 graduate of the University of Kansas Law School, had worked for Yoder in a number of roles from 2012 through 2018.
