Sherriene Jones-Sontag, a former television broadcaster and who once was the spokesperson for former Gov. Sam Brownback, is leaving the Kansas Chamber of Commerce after more than seven years.
Jones-Sontag, who had been with the chamber as vice president of communications since 2017, is joining the Federal Home Loan Bank in Topeka as government and community relations officer.
"Sherriene’s leadership, creativity, and commitment to our mission have left a lasting impact on our organization," Chamber President and CEO Alan Cobb said in a memo to the organization's board.
