The political action committee for the Kansas Chamber of Commerce took the rare step of endorsing a Democrat in a House race in the Kansas City area.
The chamber's PAC announced this week that it was supporting Democratic state Rep. Marvin Robinson of Kansas City in House District 35, an uncommon move for the business group.
It also opted not to endorse in a key Republican Senate primary where longtime incumbent Dennis Pyle of Hiawatha faces two challengers.
