Rob McKnight, a Johnson County political consultant who ran more than 400 campaigns in state and local races, died Thursday. He was 75.
A Wichita native, McKnight was credited with helping former Democratic Congressman Dennis Moore get elected to his first position as Johnson County district attorney in 1977.
McKnight won 90% of the campaigns he managed, helping elect moderate Republicans to office, the obit said.
