House Speaker Pro Tem Blake Carpenter announced Wednesday morning that his chief of staff, Alad Aguirre, is leaving for another job in the private sector.
In a letter to the House, Carpenter wrote endearingly about Aguirre and his leadership and dedication as well as being an inspiration to the people around him.
"Over the past two legislative sessions, Alad has been an integral part of our team, not only in supporting me and the operations of my office but also in enriching the lives of those around him," Carpenter . . .
