House Majority Leader Don Hineman is warning Republican lawmakers against taking sides against the GOP in the general election campaign for governor, suggesting it could be a "career-ending" ending move politically.
Hineman counseled Republican House members against publicly backing either independent Greg Orman or Democratic nominee Laura Kelly in the upcoming general election, reminding them that they serve under the GOP banner.
"Any kind of public support for the Orman or Kelly campaign could well be a career-ending move for anyone who chose to do so. Please do not do it," according to multiple sources who relayed contents . . .
