A new restriction on a special tax incentive for tourism projects died in the Kansas Senate Friday after the House couldn't get enough support for a tax plan.
Early Friday afternoon, the House approved a bill limiting the amount of state sales taxes that could be used for projects financed with sales tax revenue, or so-called STAR bonds. The vote was 83-36.
But the Senate didn't debate . . .
