Democratic state Sen. Cindy Holscher of Overland Park on Wednesday morning introduced her first ad of the general election in the governor's race, emphasizing affordability for Kansas families.
The ad features Holscher carrying groceries from her car into her house where says "everything costs too much these days."
"Instead of looking out for us, politicians look out for themselves and their donors, and leave everyday Kansans stuck with the bill," she says in the ad. "That’s why I’m running for governor, to lighten the load for working families like mine. "
