UPDATED: Holscher campaign releases new poll in governor’s race

State Sen. Cindy Holscher on Thursday morning released the results of a new poll showing she's built a double-digit lead in the Democratic primary for governor, although a broad swath of voters were still undecided.

The survey, done by Democratic pollster Public Policy Polling of Raleigh, North Carolina, shows that if the primary were held today, Holscher would receive support from 33% of those polled compared to 9% for Democratic state Sen. Ethan Corson.
