House Majority Leader Dan Hawkins is circulating a poll to Republican House members showing GOP primary voters oppose Medicaid expansion under certain circumstances.
The poll of 550 likely Republican primary voters statewide showed that 76.5% opposed expanding Medicaid if they knew that it extended "taxpayer funded benefits to able-bodied working age adults whether or not they choose to work." Another 18.5% supported it, and 5% didn't know.
