Republican gubernatorial candidate Kris Kobach split with Democrat Laura Kelly and independent Greg Orman on whether transgender bathrooms should be allowed in public schools.
In one of the few discussions about LGBT rights in a gubernatorial forum this year, Kobach came out against transgender bathrooms in public schools, while they were supported by Orman and Kelly.
Kobach, a father of five daughters, said Orman and Kelly's support of transgender bathrooms reflected their liberal leanings.
