Gov. Laura Kelly's political action committee took up sides in four Democratic primaries, including an endorsement against the top House Democrat.
The Middle of the Road PAC endorsed Democratic state Sen. Marci Francisco of Lawrence in Senate District 2 over Democratic state Rep. Christina Haswood, who has support from former Democratic Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
The PAC also endorsed Democrat Patrick Schmidt of Topeka over House Minority Leader Vic Miller and civic activist ShaMecha King Simms in Senate District 19 . . .
