Governor signs bill eliminating concealed-carry fees

Amid a flurry of vetoes on Thursday, Gov. Laura Kelly signed a bill pushed by Republican Attorney General Kris Kobach to eliminate the fee charged for concealed-carry permits.

The bill signed by the governor eliminates the $100 fee for concealed-carry permits plus the $25 renewal fee and any late fees.

The House voted to 86-37 to pass the bill. It was passed in the Senate on a 27 . . .
