Gov. Laura Kelly is calling legislative leadership together for a virtual meeting next week to discuss the coronavirus pandemic.
The governor's director of governmental affairs, Tim Graham, sent out an email Friday, inviting leading lawmakers to a meeting, presumably to discuss the the governor's desire to craft a bipartisan plan for a statewide mask mandate.
The emails only indicated the governor wanted to discuss the pandemic, but came days after Kelly said she wanted to renew efforts to adopt a statewide mask mandate . . .
