Gov. Laura Kelly on Tuesday announced the formation of a task force to oversee spending millions of dollars in federal coronavirus relief funding coming to the state.
The task force will include a five-member executive committee that will preside over the process along with a steering committee comprised of 15 more members.
The steering committee will be broken down into subcommittees focusing on communication and engagement, finance and policy development and implementation and accountability.
The state is expected to receive about $2.5 billion in coronavirus . . .
