GOP suspends loyalty sanctions

Kansas Republicans on Wednesday agreed to temporarily lift sanctions imposed on members of the party who were found to be disloyal so they can have a chance to appeal their case, the Sunflower State Journal has learned.

"We've suspended, for the time being, the sanctions because there are so many appeals and we cannot timely hear all of the appeals and give every aggrieved person their due process," Kansas Republican Party Chair Mike Kuckelman told the Sunflower State Journal on Wednesday night.

"It doesn't mean that these individuals won't be sanctioned, it means we've temporarily lifted . . .
