Travis Smith, a political operative at Axiom Strategies and former chief of staff for former Republican Congressman Kevin Yoder, is joining a consulting firm in Virginia.
Smith is leaving Kansas City-based Axiom headed by Jeff Roe to become a full partner at Creative Direct, a nationally recognized mail and voter-contact firm headquartered in Richmond, Va.
"I had a tremendous experience during my tenure with Axiom Strategies," Smith said in a statement. "I will always be grateful for the friendship, opportunity and professional growth afforded me there . . .
