Former state Rep. Greg Lewis passed away on Monday morning after battling a brain tumor for a little more than a year.
Lewis' death was announced on the House floor Monday morning, almost a year to the day when he announced he was leaving the Legislature in an emotional speech to his colleagues.
He was joined that day on the floor of the chamber with his wife of 40 years, Susan, and his son, Joshua.
