It really gets into full swing this week as a consultant hired by the Legislature presents her report to lawmakers about how much the state should spend on elementary and secondary education. The report is due Thursday and is expected to be made public Friday.
For what it's worth, only Wichita State is playing at the same time lawmakers meet on Friday to hear a presentation on the consultant's report. Rest easy, KU and K-State fans. Your teams play at times that shouldn't interfere . . .
