The filing deadline for Kansas House candidates passed at noon Monday.
There were 261 candidates who filed for House seats, including 136 Republicans and 125 Democrats.
There are 25 Republican primaries and 18 Democratic primaries.
The llist could change since one Democratic candidate has filed an objection to not being placed on the ballot in House District 122, an issue that could be settled by June 12.
