A second candidate has filed for the Senate District 19 seat, setting up a potential race with two other Democrats including House Minority Leader Vic Miller.
ShaMecha King Simms announced her candidacy Wednesday night at the Gil Carter Initiative in the Highland Acres neighborhood of Topeka.
