A leading agriculture group on Friday gave some political muscle to Republican Gov. Jeff Colyer when it endorsed him in the GOP gubernatorial primary.
The Kansas Farm Bureau, which boasts a membership of more than 100,000 in 105 counties, said that Colyer and his running mate Tracey Mann demonstrated the strongest commitment to agriculture.
"When we looked at the current landscape in the governor's race, it was clear that Gov. Colyer and Lt. Gov. Mann were the team with the most solid commitment to the needs of our agricultural and farming community," Kansas Farm Bureau President Rich Felt . . .
