Legislative auditors on Tuesday dug into the African American Affairs Commission, issuing a report that drew a sharp rebuke from Democrats who thought it was narrowly focused on one person with indications of a conflict of interest.
The auditors presented a report to the Legislative Post Audit Committee examining whether the African American Affairs Commission complied with key legal requirements and made appropriate expenditures in the last year.
