Democratic attorney general candidate under fire; attitude toward law enforcement questioned


Lots of coverage early today about Democratic attorney general candidate Sarah Swain, who's embroiled in an ugly controversy over a poster in her law office showing Wonder Woman with her lasso of truth around a cop's neck.

Ethan Corson, executive director of the Kansas Democratic Party, issued a statement this morning distancing the party from Swain, a Lawrence criminal defense attorney.

"Promotion of violence against law enforcement officers disqualifies Swain from serving as Kansas’ chief law enforcement officer," Corson said.
